Always a Bridesmaid, never a Bride

Referring to way this past 24/25 football season has gone for both the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Buffalo Bills...as they hang their heads from another big time lose. Now if you're not a fan of either team this matters not.

Allot of similarities here...they have the talent they have the coaches both had successful winning seasons leading into their respective playoff games, but they just couldn't finish. It's becoming a too familiar story. Yes, someone has to lose...but it begs the question...in the case of last night are Kansas City Chiefs really all that more superior or is luck and fate on their side for whatever reason.

So, for now the huge, dedicated fan base, must wait and with continued hope believe things will change and the pendulum will swing their direction for a change.

The Cowboys never even get invited to the wedding 😜🤠

Memphis lives and breaths University of Memphis basketball. They're even bigger than the Grizzlies.
But they too are the constant bridesmaid. They always have a good season and make it to the playoffs, usually getting to the Final 4. But they always choke in the crucial moment and blow it.
I've never been much for sports. I gave up on these guys long ago.

I don’t follow college b ball ; my In laws are into Memphis “State” big time. They say Penny is an amazing recruiter but not a great head coach. I do think they have done a pretty good job the last decade building a football program, considering they are in the heart of SEC country. I expect all of their athletics are only going to improve with Fed Ex’s massive NIL commitments.
