Always a Bridesmaid, never a Bride

Gave upon pro ball decades ago, college ball in the last few when “students” are being paid outrageous sums to “play”. I’m old enough to remember when the purpose of college was to get an education (you know, before they were ran by marxists who hate America). Watching grown men being paid more for one few month long season than those who place their lives on the line everyday to protect citizens will earn in a lifetime somehow doesn’t seem right. I see soldiers, cops, and firefighters risk everything while these prima donna’s make millions and through it away. Not a popular opinion, but there it is. I’d rather watch a highschool game.

I gave up on professional sports a long time ago. Even Nascar is silly at least to me anymore. The guys at work used to "bust" on me because I like the old school professional wrestling matches. They would say 'How do you watch that considering it's fake and pre-determined who wins? My reply was always as a child my DAD used to take me and my friends to all the matches when they came around and it's great memories especially now since I see both my Parents getting early stages of dementia and it helps me to remember the "good times". I still remember when John Stossel of ABC asked Dr. D David Schultz about wrestling being fake and good ole Dr. D slapped the dog **** out of him on both sides of the head. Indeed good times.
