Always something happening at Walmart

I F'in hate Walmart. I have long since gotten over the fact that my wife will continue to spend my money there. She says she isn't going to 4 stores and paying 30% more for the things we need. Ok, do your thing woman. She no longer asks me to go with her or asks me to stop on the way home. Occasionally I will stop and pickup groceries when she orders them on-line and they bring them out to me.

Their aisles are narrower and no matter when you go there every aisle is full of people, many of which are employees shopping for on-line pickup customers. It usually takes less than 5 minutes before I am very vocally unhappy about the situation, which I understand causes my wife some embarrassment. Me ? Bassbob does not get embarrassed. I will straight up tell an old lady to get her GD cart out of the middle of the aisle.
While I don't get vocal, I do have those frustrations. I used to hate going. I have come to peace with it and go. With that being said, I do get happy when the wife goes without me

I often make the old jokes about things like Laundry or what not, you know turn all the clothes pink once and she'll never ask you to do laundry again. Likewise the old joke, act like a complete child at the store and embarrass her and she'll never ask you to go to the store again. Those are just jokes though and I have never purposely ruined laundry. I also don't get severely agitated in WalMart on purpose. I assure you as I have aged my "Keel" has evened. Nevertheless I am, eh, unable to hide my extreme frustration when it comes to shopping at WalMart.

I hate to go to WM also but I hate more to have my lady come home and hear how she’s been harassed by losers hitting on her. I know she’s much happier and more comfortable with me with her. She was treated very badly by men when living in Mexico and her
ex-husband abused her horribly. We’ve been together since the day we met because I treat her like the beautiful lady she is and will protect her with my life.

Their inventory isn’t appealing for many reasons, name brand pricing there isn’t any better than elsewhere.
I went to the local Walmarts’ once or twice, it shares space in a small shopping center district. So one day I needed a 3-wheel trailer dolly right of way to move a small trailer around and they had a cheap one in stock.
And like many, expected some sort of Wal-nut occupant nuttiness while I perused the auto parts section. Went real early, in and out no problem and an array of ordinary everyday shoppers.
Though having been to this shopping center many times, this is a completely different microcosm after 12 pm. but generally I avoid anywhere that’s crowded and checker help that’s scarce.

Its a amazing how Walmarts‘ attracts the weird. Commercialisms gift to the beltway…a Hollywood and Venice Beach in very town.

Many years ago when I was in my late 20's I was standing in line at my local walmart. It was close to Christmas so lines were backed up. Anyway I am standing there and the lady ( about 55 or so ) behind me hit me with her cart. I shrugged it off as an accident , but after a couple min. it happened again. I turned and gave her a little stare and she just looked back at me. Well there was some kind of problem at the check out with the current customer and it was taking a good amount of time.

All this time the older lady was sighing and going on . Finally about 3 minutes later I am again hit with the cart but hard so I knew it was intentional. I turned around , looked at her square in the eye , and told her if she hit me with her cart again I was going to shove the damned thing right over the top of her. She looked at me like 😲 but I didn't get hit again.

There are very rude people out there . I still go to Walmart but I keep my wits about me at all times because you just never know.

In your 20’s, getting hit by an older woman, in the Walmart check out line ….
C’mon Man!
Thats got a “Dear Penthouse, I never thought this would happen to me“ written all over it !!!

Shopping cart bumps are a subtle display of some unbridles enthusiasm. Its in my book,
“101 Freudian slip even Syg missed“ (paperback, aisle 7 at Walmart)

Just like a Star Wars spaceport at times. I used to go to WalMart often for skeet loads but the never seem to have any ammo the past few years.
My wife used to pick me up a 100 round box of 230 gr. WWB every time she went to WalMart. When they decided to quit carrying handgun and AR ammo I quit buying anything at all from their sporting goods dept.. I'll pay more anywhere else.

The WM we visit does have a very small sporting goods section with a ammunition section that I’ve looked at but it never has anything I use and prices are comparable to local LGS’s
