No, I hate both sides of the uni party. They are all shills for corporations, other countries, and special interests. Our answers will not come from the Democrats or Republicans, just more of the same divide and conquer tactics while ****ing over the average person.

My father is in full on dementia. Horrible disease. I see no signs of it in Trump. He isn't senile, he's just an old man and he is infinitely sharper than Biden in that regard. Now he is a bunch of other things, but senile is not one of them.
I am sorry to hear that. Mine is too.
There are plenty of examples out there of his goofs and outright bizarrity from many of his speeches but I'll use one of the more recently concentrated on. What do you think of his Hannibal Lecter comments?

Haven't really heard about that one. It's not dementia dude. He just isn't really all that slick.
I don't think he has it full-blown but it's definitely beginning. Does your father make odd expressions and faces that do not fit the situation? I know there are many different kinds of dementia, but mine does. I've seen Trump make the exact faces that does not match the situation he is in. There are also many word warps when he is speaking where he will kind of slur or blend a word.

We seem to have a feudal government; to the victor go the spoils. Big Tech and Big Pharma certainly have a large influence besides certain billionaires, NGO's and others who can lobby/influence/pressure/blackmail office holders. Some politicians are bought cheap. Many/most become multi-millionaires.
Taxes are money taken from the people in one form or another. Deficit spending is with money we do not have or take in. Thinking we can change the climate by throwing money at favored green companies is delusional. Even if we could, China and India are building coal plants and spewing the stuff that these green companies say is causing climate change. If this is so urgent, we then need to offset what they are doing which is nuts. Meanwhile, China has more money to take over the world by not going down that "green" road.
Bottom line, there is more optimism for a better 2025 and beyond. Things can get better. OTOH, media and certain politicians are talking about throwing up roadblocks to the incoming administration. People are fed up about a lot of things, so it's possible the regular people may get what they want for a change.
