Agreed. Cheap ammo is a thing of the past...well, AS cheap. Shooting sports are still a pretty affordable hobby compared to many others. Build an engine in the 90's? Look at the prices now. I don't golf, but I know some that do that always kibitz about the price nowadays. Skiing? Boating? Ammo prices are up and will stay up. Just like the days of $175 police trade in Smith and Wesson Revolvers. The ship has sailed. You either stop shooting, reload (which is also way more expensive) or pay the price. Things are more expensive now than they used to be. It is unfortunate, but that is the World we live in. The combined buying power of this forum boycotting a major ammo company, if EVERYONE participated, would not even be a blip on the sales chart. I for one never thought I would live in a world where you could go to the Ford dealer and order a new truck that cost more than my first house which I purchased brand new in 1988. But that is where we are.
