anniversaries and pistols aka 1911s

on the 29th, my wife and i will be hitched 40 years YEAHHH HAW
40 th is RUBY for wedding anniversary gift and it also is our birth gemstone
so the smooth operator i am , i found her a sweet ruby and diamond pendant necklace

i even managed for her to be away when it arrived by package delivery
i inspected it and locked in the safe , for what was to be 2 weeks
ahhhh , but i some how dropped a not that was in the box that had the appraisal sheets and care of the necklace, onto the table that all the mail gets dropped on, so the days mail was dropped on top of it and i didnt notice.

wife gets home and asked if mail came, like a dummy i handed her ALL the mail :)
a few minutes later she asks me why this paper from a jeweler was in the mail??? hmmm i must be a spam letter ???

i get the LOOK.

so a few minutes go by and i fetch the necklace and present it to her
she was happy..
then said...what could she get me? I said well, i dont think they make 1911s in ruby
so i ordered me a new one, from S/A with AOS ability :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
i shall call it RUBY

The Ruby pistol was a semi-automatic pistol of .32 ACP caliber made by Gabilondo y Urresti and other Spanish companies. It saw use in both World Wars as the service weapon of the French Army under the name Pistolet Automatique de 7 millim.65 genre "Ruby". In 1914, just before the start of the First World War, Gabilondo started manufacture of a sturdy self-loading pistol based on the Browning Model 1903 and chambered for the 7.65mm Browning/.32 ACP cartridge.
