Another interesting weather event where I live in eastern Ohio, at about 1:00am we had a MCS move through, on my RadarScope app, I switched over to velocity and the colors were at the top end of the scale plus the whole MCS was rotating, estimated wind was 70+ mph, straight line. Here are a few pics around my apartment, first 2 are the trees right behind me, other 2 are around the complex.

A Mesoscale Convective System (MCS) is a collection of thunderstorms that act as a system. An MCS can spread across an entire state and last more than 12 hours. On radar one of these monsters might appear as a solid line, a broken line, or a cluster of cells.
