That's a very common question these days. And the answer, so far, always seems to be "No."The question is is the current admin smart enough to do that.

That part of Guyana is jungle with few roads so any mechanized intrusion can be easily stopped by Spec Ops, plus all of Venezuela's forces are for show.
Brazil is deploying forces to the tri-border area, and all the US needs to do is put a USMC ARG & MEU with F-35Bs on an LHA on training maneuvers off the Guyana coast, a detachment of KC-130Ts and AV-8B+Harrier IIs to the Guyana capital airport, and all this blows over.
The question is is the current admin smart enough to do that.
I'm not woke and/or on the "take" so I wouldn't qualify. You should call the White House and suggest that. There may be a "Secretary" position open for you...

Most already are considering the last 3 years the admin has said the greatest treat to the US is/was white supremacy (aka white law-abiding citizens) while they let 8-10 million cataloged & 4-5 million "get-aways"... illegals from 160 countries into the country, with 450 billion USD/per yr. of free support; and only now do they say that the terrorism risks are off the charts.More likely he'd end up on a list as a potential terrorist, and be put under surveillance.
Somebody’s watched “Red Dawn” one too many times.
None—NONE of those countries have the ability to project force. Even China can’t project much further than the western Pacific…and they’re not dumb enough to kick anything off; all the US would need to do is reneg on their loans, and their economy would be crippled.
There’s not going to be an invasion of the US…
Great movie. I remember seeing it at the theatre when I was 10 years old. It's a companion film to Dr. Strangelove.Lol, why does part of this conversation remind me of...

All you need to do is look at the respective naval power, and what it consists of, for those nations.OK. So you've shared a lot of information on this thread regarding the military capabilities of other nations. Do you have some sources that we can look at that support your statements? I realize my post is just my opinion, but I'd like to know if you're speaking from a position of authority and knowledge and where that knowledge is coming from.
I'm sure it would put our worried minds at ease if what you say is true.
Amen brother youngolddude! We don't need to police the world, but we do need to protect our own borders. Our government is too big and needs to reduce its appetite for money that we don't have.
Yeah, but, but, maybe they have time machines, yeah time machines thats it, and could move a whole army and strike units to various strategic locations thousands of years ago. And then poof an army appears in every capital , and military base, or armories. They could take over in minutes. All you need to do is look at the respective naval power, and what it consists of, for those nations.
Long-range sealift capability just isn’t there, and that’s how you move the truly massive amount of troops an invasion of CONUS would require.
QED.
From one of the many institutions of higher learning maybe? The next terrorist attack on the US will come from within our own borders...
This is a Dr. Seuss editorial cartoon that appeared in PM Magazine in early 1942. Scary thing is that many military age Chinese men have entered this country recently. You think they could be waiting for a signal from home like the cartoon indicates? I hope history doesn't repeat itself, but it doesn't look like a lot has changed in 80 years. The next terrorist attack on the US will come from within our own borders...
That’s as viciously racist now as it was then. This is a Dr. Seuss editorial cartoon that appeared in PM Magazine in early 1942.
