Nope, I removed the silencer ring from the turbo, it's turbo spin down coming from the straight exhaust.

i didn't know you had a turbo....the wastegate also makes noises, but in my shop(s) turbo or supercharger engines were only on race cars back then.

i was still working on Flintstone cars back then.

she was not happy in anyway shape or form as it was less than a month old.

That rattle is just your Cummins telling you it's good for at least another half million miles! lol Since all my emissions junk "fell off" my 2020 6.7 Cummins, I sure can hear my turbo "sing"!

I wish I could borrow that "Back-to-the Future" DeLorean and go back to the mid-late 90's and buy some extra rigs (aka vehicles) from then. After that everything started going crazy with all the computer .

Not a GM product, but my Toyota Tundra has a check engine light on that the dealer’s Master Techs can’t figure out. They have had my truck for over two weeks so far, not counting previous trips. The newer vehicles are just too complicated with way too many failure modes!

I was thinking of getting a 2025 Toyota Frontier hybrid with 326 HP but decided against it.
I have serious doubts as so much unproven years technology in them but so many lithium batteries because long charging(if EV only), insane fire hazzard, a tonne of extra weight, and some models takes up so much floor space.
Also if you research that model, you find many with so many issues. It is not like before Toyota had excellent reliability but quality has gone down.
