Anybody have any input.......

88No experience with this one. It could be a fine range gun due to weight and capacity. Suppressor ready could appeal if you have or want one. I think it's butt ugly, but to each his own. The only Beretta I have is an 85FS that I love.
I think they look good (the orginal anyway), but I believe looks are the reason why they aren't more popular. Feature for feature and how well thought out and built they are, they're better than a lot of the competition especially at the price point. That doesn't matter to most because they don't like the way it looks. The same goes foe the Px4. Another great pistol that's not as popular because looks and appearance matters a lot more in today's market. There are other options that have a more modern traditional tactical look to them.

To be honest, I never would have purchased one myself if it wasn't for the rebate, but I ended up really liking and appreciating the platform the more I learned about it after the fact. The same goes for my Px4. Purchased my Px4 Compact Inox for $319 NIB during the Trump slump, and was also pleasantly impressed.

I have 3 APX orginals, a Px4 Compact Inox, and a Beretta 92x Performance. I plan on adding a APX A1 Centurion to to mix and a Beretta 1301 semiauto shotgun to the collection.

Thanks for all the replies, and I appreciate all the feedback and inputs, I am tossed between this Beretta, XDm Elite FDE with threaded barrel and a Ruger American Pro, yes, this is just going to be a range gun, recently got rid of several older Glocks which were mostly my range guns, thanks again guys!

well i have 2 Beretta 92 FS's. one blue, one SS

so i am biased

it comes down to how you liked the fit and feel.

price seems to be ok

comes apart like my Beretta's.

like any other gun, "once you do it, you're a pro"......

or is it, "once you ride a bike, you never forget how to"...????

i dunno, my sugar reading is low.

I've also heard a LOT of people say the trigger sucks too. I typically will post post these video in rebuttal. Those are the original APX in the video, but the APX A1 now ships with the green competition striker spring installed from the factory whereas you had to buy it separately with the original. Once broken in, the trigger pull should be 5.5lb to 5lb.

Not many striker pistols the trigger doesn't suck on.

Well, for now I passed on them, having a medical issue going on right now and finding out with my current insurance will cover, I will have a good bit of co-pays, so I figured after this is over I’ll get one probably.
yeah, i know that nonsense all too well.

after x number of years of 1 med being covered for ZERO co-pay, i got hit with a $200.00 co pay a few months ago.

"thanks Medicare for changing the Tier system"

getting hit with co-pays for procedures, when they were lower priced was one thing....

then "they" raise the number of procedures that NOW require co-pays.

The golden years. Why do they call it that you ask ? Because it takes more and more gold to keep you above ground every year you get past 60.
:(
I hope not! I've been paying over $1300/month for insulin and supplies for the last 10 years (yes I have full-coverage insurance) and I'm in my 50's. I guess I should plan on $3k/month when I retire? (10 years?).

I guess it hasn't been 10 years...since the ACA went into effect...

Each year, the big Pharma and their counter part med insurance like to quietly change things in some of their plans and they will not inform you of anything. Follow the 💰 You need to check each year during open enrollment time and you have to call CS to get ALL the full details as the listed details are only a partial listing not full. Now why would they do that❓

I’ve heard good things, just not popular but it’s likely on par with most Stryker guns in its class maybe slightly better. Its
My understanding they have a fire control unit similar to the p320 (plus I haven’t heard of the apx randomly discharging a round lol). So everything can be changed which is sort of handy if you like to tinker. I think honest outlaw was impressed with it.

Honestly beretta seems to fall under the radar, I have shot a few 92’s but my fathers px4 shoots amazing and 0 issues apparently those are overbuilt tanks too.
I like my Beretta APX a lot. I like how it fits in my hand. How it shoots. When I first saw the pictures of the slide serrations I had to go and handle one. It felt even better than it looked, at least for me.

I was able to get mine for $350 out the door, used. It's one of the best purchases I've made in a long time...:)
