I watched the Twilight Zone a lot, but my favorite was The Outer Limits. Heck, the music score was enough to give me the creeps. And when you had Harlan Ellison writing some episodes you couldn't go wrong. Below: David McCallum (RIP) in the Outer Limits.I watched the entire series when it was first aired. Star Trek appeared the next year, and the special effects between the two was quite substantial. LIS effects were hooky, but so were the Outer Limits, and as a kid, I found Outer Limits much scarier than the Twilight Zone which I also watched when they both first aired. I also liked the British TV series UFO (SHADO and all ), hooky effect that lasted the one season between 1970-1971, but it was fun to watch.
