anyone remember the old tv show, "Lost in Space"..??

I watched the entire series when it was first aired. Star Trek appeared the next year, and the special effects between the two was quite substantial. LIS effects were hooky, but so were the Outer Limits, and as a kid, I found Outer Limits much scarier than the Twilight Zone which I also watched when they both first aired. I also liked the British TV series UFO (SHADO and all ), hooky effect that lasted the one season between 1970-1971, but it was fun to watch.
I watched the Twilight Zone a lot, but my favorite was The Outer Limits. Heck, the music score was enough to give me the creeps. And when you had Harlan Ellison writing some episodes you couldn't go wrong. Below: David McCallum (RIP) in the Outer Limits.

i don't pay for any extra subscriptions. so i don't get that, or Hulu or anything.

my cable plan is high enough.

all that being said, i typically do not like remakes or do-overs...or pre-quills, or a franchise (aka Friday the 13th, Fast and Furious, etc)

to me, the first originals are the best, hokey special effects and all.

the original Buck Rogers tv shows, with Buster Crabbe as Buck, you can actually see the "strings", on the rocket ship, flying in space...lol
My cable is Comcast and with the package I have I get Netflix free, and since I have there gig internet I get Peacock free also, plus my tv can stream, and there is a lot of free stuff there, Tubi, Freevee, Pluto to name a few

Remember the program? Sure, but was not a fan. During that time, I was too involved with bikes and sports, mainly baseball. Girls would begin to confound me soon enough! Eighty-seven years is a long enough span on this planet.

yeah, we have 3 tv's, and only one can be a wireless hook up to the internet.

but what i also do know, is that those subscription services are chargeable for us.

until the day we men die...women will confound us.

that's why we die before them, cuz we wanna get away.

Yeah, I downloaded the Tubi app to my TV to watched the 3rd movie of the "Maze Runner" series before it left their site. I had watched the first two in the series (somewhere), and wanted to see the 3rd (with my luck they'll make a 4th, but the 3rd ending could make it the last). The Tubi inserted commercials weren't as bad as I expected (at least for this movie). You'd watch a good 20 minutes or more before interruption with an ad that was about a minute in lenght before the movie then resumed.

Loved Outer Limits when I was a kid. Even at a young age, I knew that OL was several levels weirder than Twilight Zone. There was one episode with weird ant-people that freaked the S#!t out of me.

Actually Pluto has the original Outer Limits, started watching them again this morning

Comcast here took MeTv off and gave us Comet TV, it’s ok, but I miss the old MeTV
same here with Verizon's FIoS...

i was watching MeTV from the antenna on the roof i put up...it's strictly for the kitchen tv. it would cost too much money for a FIoS receiver box, for the kitchen tv, for only like 1 to 2 hours a day that we sit in the kitchen, for our meals.
