AOS Slide for 1911 .45 RONIN

I have a "normal" 1911 .45 RONIN - PX911BL
Anyone know if it is possible to get an AOS RONIN slide to fit this to use with an optic.

Or - a plate adapter that will fit the regular 1911 rear sight cut?

I don’t know. Call SA and ask. My guess would be no. If they did then that would cut into new gun sales. Check with them.

One more then likely would fit, minor fitting probably, but Springfield does not sell gun parts……

1911’s aren’t “plug and play” like other designs; Glock, for instance.

There’s usually a bit of fitting of the barrel to the bushing/slide, possibly fitting the slide to the frame…

They’re saving themselves huge headaches by not offering the parts.

That said…look for an aftermarket OR slide, preferably one cut with the footprint of your preferred optic. I’d likely end up getting another barrel, bushing, etc, and have a complete dedicated slide assembly, as well. Yeah, there’ll be some fitting; but no less than if you got a slide from Springfield.
