ouchYep. the ejector took flight when I was reinstalling; found the spring but not the ejector.
You didn’t need Springfield to get that part. Or most any part from any AR-15/ AR-10.After about 2 hours of the 'gunsmith crawl", I found the ejector. (It's a little over 1/8 in diameter by 1/2 inch, black, hides well.)
What I have learned is that it's very difficult to get SA parts for any SA gun. Worrisome...

Bassbob: I should have mentioned I couldn't find ANY AR ejectors, not just SA. I'm a gunsmith; I've purchased quite a few parts over the years. I have never been able to get a SA-brand part (as stated by TEXASforLIFE, they don't sell them, but you sometimes can beg a service representative and get a part). The few typical parts sellers that I use, and others I looked at, either didn't sell an AR ejector or didn't have one in stock; I was very surprised. You didn’t need Springfield to get that part. Or most any part from any AR-15/ AR-10.
One other thing: I've found that SA parts are not necessarily what other (DPMS, spec, standard, etc) ARs have. I don't know about the ejector; never needed one, for any brand gun, before. You didn’t need Springfield to get that part. Or most any part from any AR-15/ AR-10.
SA is KAC/DPMS pattern, so…That's an extractor, not an ejector. And I don't think the SA AR bolt is DPMS; a DPMS firing pin will not work in it.
Thanks for the effort.

I guess if you wanna go that route.
