the most "art" i have ever done on any gun(s) i own, was to color in the name on both sides.
it was easy to learn thanks to a you tuber, and easy to do.
when i went to sell a gun with the colored name..??
the gun dealer just didn't like the look, and really rejected the gun.
took it home, removed the coloring, then sold it.
so what i am saying is that, if you do this, you may not be able to sell it or trade it.
not everyone likes what we like in "art".
you might be keeping that gun for life.
here are 2 examples, and as you can see, both were cleanly done, not messy..
so you can see it was a neatly done coloring...if i recall i did the same to a Canik, looked good, dealer rejected the sale....
took home the canik, removed the coloring, dealer bought it....
not everyone likes "art work" done.
same with all the 18 wheelers that go up for sale at dealer lots or privately....that i have seen time and time again
beautiful art work, but NO ONE has the same taste, and no one wants to pay any extra.
