Not sure about the XD-M, but I have a Viridian Reactor instant-on (their term is "ECR") green laser on my XD-S. I believe they have one for the XD-M as well. Check out their site, viridianweapontech.com I believe.

Here check out this article. They have adapted equipment they sale to fit any holster and make it ECR.

If you're referring to an auto-on, Crimson Trace makes a grip activated model for the Xdm.
