Adorable little babies. I will never forget years ago my then wife and I got a wildlife rescue call on a dear that was hit by a car, the report came in it was still moving. When we arrived on scene we found the dear dead but what was moving was the baby inside her. I proceeded to cut the mother open and pulled out the very much alive and unhurt baby. She survived and was placed with a rehabilitation group that had dozens of baby dear. We used to go and visit and the baby would always come up to me and cry when we left.
Very rewarding.
