Bandoliers – Do They Still Have a Place?

There is lots and lots of gear that was historically fielded and later faded away. Some stuff just ages out, but other pieces of gear can adapt and keep up. Things like slings, equipment belts, and beyond have adapted and remain useful. Have bandoliers been able to keep up? Are they still relevant?

they absolutely and emphatically do.................i have several for shotgun, pistol and rifle cartridges!

Perhaps for hunting shotguns, but frankly I always preferred a vest or Redhead coat. For a fighting shotgun I will take a dump pouch over a bandolier any day.

Bandolier? I thought that's what vest pockets were for. Along with a biscuit wrapped in waxed paper, assorted nails and screws, nut with no bolt, bolt with no nut, stones that catch the eye,..................................................
