Never tried. My main bass for 30 plus years was a Rickenbacker 4001. It's pretty heavy. While I always tried to have some "Stage presence" as they say, I never felt the need to shamelessly emulate Hendrix like that. However, I could be persuaded. If one of you wants to donate a bass ( or a guitar) I will re-enact Jimi's finale from the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, on video, for your viewing pleasure.
