BassCliff, the NRA Volunteer

Hi guys!

It's the last push before election day. My field rep and I were out knocking or doors again, trying to save the country. We'll do the same tomorrow and Thursday if the weather holds. It was NICE today here in the upper Midwest.

My field rep told me that I made the top 10 volunteers in the country again last month. This time I will receive a genuine NRA cooler. Yay me. ;)

The highlight of today was knocking on this guy's door. :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately he was not home so I left a flyer. Too bad.

OK guys, let's get out and vote on or before election day. We've got a country to save. :D

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Keep up the good work.

In a few years I expect you to be on The Board to sort their BS out and get back to focusing on the people and true NRA needs 😎

I just read this thread. Thank you for your time and efforts, BASSCLIFF! I have always heard that all politics are local. Keep up the great work!

My wife and I voted yesterday. We are both Life members of the NRA. While we still have basically the same leadership at the top of the NRA, hopefully all the “noise” from the membership will wake a few of them up. All of us should be members of our state organizations like you are.

Considering all the miles you are putting on them, maybe next time you will get a new pair of NRA shoes! :). Thank you!!

I plan to do more volunteer work in a couple of years for the next election cycle. We managed to re-elect our 2A friendly U.S. Senator, five out of seven U.S. Congressmen, but our NRA endorsed gubernatorial candidate did not fare as well. It looks like the state houses will remain 2A friendly majorities even with the non-2A governor. Sometimes it's almost as frustrating to be in a "purple" state as it was living in California.

I managed to win another major award for the month of October, finishing again in the top 10.

It's my very own customized 48 quart Igloo cooler. It even has rulers on the lid so I can see how big my fish are. ;)

And a big "Hip! Hip! Hooray!" because all the political ads on TV are gone for a while. :D We now return you to our regularly scheduled broadcast.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
