BATFE wants to control gun powder now.

I have a Phone and I have a Pen™️, established 2014.
Non legislative bodies changing making new rules that subvert law.

So, next up is you need authorization and likely substantial fees, registration including background check for any materials classified by the new ATF….AND let’s assume that’s going to include the already boxed cartridges on the closet shelf. Notice theres no quantity minimums of possessed explosives. A single firecracker though a Class D explosive, it’s still an explosive.

Oh, what if ….and there’s no warning placards on your vehicle when heading out to or from the range, LGS, hunting and maybe it’s just a wee bit across in the state border …is that going to be the probable cause, and the foot in the door?

The stuff they’re legalizing these days is having more ill effects and death on society than the things they’re banning.

“Yeah, it breaks down like this: it's legal to buy it, it's legal to own it and, if you're the proprietor of a hash bar, it's legal to sell it. It's legal to carry it, which doesn't really matter cause – get a load of this – if the cops stop you, it's illegal for them to search you. Searching you is a right that the cops in Amsterdam don't have.” - Vincent Vega, Pulp Fiction
you know, once the fire dept gets into your house to lay out the plan, don't forget, so will be the city/town building inspector..

have any motor oils on the shelves? maybe windshield washer anti-freeze?

maybe gun cleaning supplies like Hoppes..??

maybe have weed killer, or other lawn care products..???

wanna bet they attach all those other items as hazardous..????

cuz if anyone READS the labels, they can be harmful......

this would have far reaching effects, that not too many are even thinking about.

Old_Me you are certainly right. This is the camels nose under the tent. For one, the gov't will have to know what you bought in order to know where you store it. My concern is that many gun owners will let this slide by because they don't reload and don't hunt with a black powder gun. They will ignore this proposal and when it becomes a springboard for more regulations the dye will have been cast.

when i worked in the garage business, my state came out with some BS crap about hazmat materials in the building and quantities.

the owner and i spent a great deal of time, logging everything they wanted. (inventory to the extreme)

then another garage owner told him, "you're wasting your time, wanna know what i do"?

" i cut off the labels, and mail the SOB's to the state".

i don't know if he ever got backlash for doing that, but know what..??

stupid minds come up with stupid ideas, rules, regulations, but no solutions to any of them, yet they want "compliance".
