Nice guns, I used to have a S&W 41, great gunsI love my Smith Model 41s, and the High Standard is virtually new in the box. I only shoot standard velocity through these.

Thanks Anni, I've got 2 Model 41s that I like to shoot when I go to the local indoor range. Years ago turkey's used to be legal during deer season and I'd pack one of the 41s and if I could call a turkey in close enough I'd pop it. I bought the High Standard back about 35 years ago. The owner had bought 2 in 1969 and had only shot one of them. When I got it I took it apart and cleaned the old oil off which had dried the action shut. I shot one magazine though it and put it back in the box as to not wear the gold plating off of the trigger.
