best fn or f'n handgun

i've been on the hunt for an f'n handgun as beretta doesn't make a 10mm (only boring stuff in 9mm ;) ). looking for a 45 in something cool or another 10 (sig is a possibility). no single stacks will be accepted! as long as it's not a 1911 i'm gtg. might go 1911 and see if any of my kids are proficient with it just for something different. i don't hate 1911's, just they're no good for me and my wrist. i pretty much know who like what on this forum, but tell/remind me anyway!

anything s/w i don't need reminded as they're my favorite and glock is too boring as they make 1 and all other gens follow perfection or not🤣 . requirements for 45's are a 10 round mag minimum that's NOT single stacked. must be full sized as i don't care that much for compacts (maybe a 4" barrel minimum as that's what my s/w 2.0 10mm is). 4.25" barrel length or longer preferred up to 5" in most cases especially in 1911 (maybe the ri ultra hc double stack in 10mm on my list as it's my daughter's favorite cartridge).

How many of the S&W 10mm models do you have TFL? I have all 3. FN has the 45s FNX 45 (hammer fire); 545 (striker fire) and 10mm in the 510. I have the FNX & 510 and told my LGS FN rep when he came to the store, that although I liked their 510, I thought the S&W Performance Center 5.6” 10mm was the best striker Fire 10mm I’ve shot to date.

9mm 1.0, 2.0 in 10mm (4" & 5.6"pc), 40s/w (converted to 357sig), 45acp factory threaded barrel (5.31" i think). 5 so far and will buy some more.

hammer fired would be a preference for now as i don'y have any issues with strikers. wanting to change things up a bit. some hk's have my interest in 45, but not sure about walther's in any cartridge? 45's are to slow of a cartridge for me, but the right handgun makes a difference as i've found out.

i try and make it about the rest of the family and not all me. they do enjoy the ride.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

When I decided to pick up a 10mm, it was all about which model/brand fit my medium sized hands best. I made the rounds to a few local gun shops and gripped S&W, Sig, FN, Springfield. I tend to like compact sized handguns best. The 4" FN 510 MRD (no plan/desire to slow down 10mm to suppress it, or I'd have went with 45acp) fit my hand the best. Its great for me. I felt the Springfield fit my hand the 2nd best.
