Blue Origin launches an all-female celebrity crew with Katy Perry, Gayle King and Lauren Sanchez

I agree.wholeheartedly. Flaunting wealth and privilege during these times of uncertainty is the wrong message.
There’s a bunch of scientists, engineers, technicians, hell even commissary workers employed by these “bimbos”. Are there salaries wasted?

Aviation in the early 20th century was a rich and famous lark. It took the wealth of European royalty to explore the new world. Now that kind of travel is so routine we complain about having to endure a flight to London or Japan.

I’m cutting them some slack, that money was not wasted. Lest we forget, it is in fact their money to do with what they want. Pursuit of happiness?

The Wright brothers owned a bicycle shop. They were not rich. True, later development took some coin.

It doesn't concern me that these "ladies" took the ride. More power to'em. I'd take that ride if I could afford it. I dont mind spending my money to keep people employed. That's not my issue. I find it disingenuous that these "bimbos" act like they accomplished an amazing feat, when all they did was go for a very expensive amusement ride for publicity.

I know, it's just my opinion. But it's worth everything you paid for it. ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

I’d do it too if I had the opportunity and the money. I wouldn’t come out of the capsule and kiss the ground.
I did that before when I had a minor parachute malfunction (Mae West) and it seemed like it took forever to bicycle out of it. I did just in time to drop my ruck and prepare to land. I landed Feet. knees. Lips.
