Bought a brand new Hellcat today but how do I know what version/generation/year or series?

Might be worth calling Springfield and see if they sell the slide. I doubt it like Sig don't on the 365 but worth asking

See that's where I made my mistake with the Sig p365. I should have bought the XL with the optical . I wound up selling and got the Hellcat.

The only new Hellcat is the RDP model which has an upgraded "gen 2" trigger manual safety option for those who dont understand the blade concept safety. Hellcat trigger works as advertised so all these ppl filing off the back edge or installing new triggers might not consider a blade only safety since the concepts the exact same for every gun manufacture!!!

I know it’s anecdotal, but I have the 911 in .380 and love it. Never had the slide stop spring pop out. Never had a FTF or FTE. Fed both HP & FMJ through it as well as both brass and steel case. Very smooth and accurate pistol for me.
