The whole point is it shouldn’t need fixing at all! If Quality Control was doing there job this wouldn’t have happened.

No update on the gun from Springfield. I hate waiting.

Update:

My gun is on its way back and the invoice states they replaced the rear sight. Hopefully they didn’t use the same one. We shall see as it will be back next week. Another update will be forth coming after the next range trip.

Got the gun back from Springfield yesterday saying they replaced the rear sight. I tried to move it by hand and at least it wouldn’t budge. Will take it out for a range session tomorrow which will be the real test. They sent nothing extra with the gun.

Put 100 rounds through the gun and no issues with the rear sight. Seems to be good and tight still. Might be awhile before I fully trust it’s not going to move.
