Cheapest Gun You Love to Shoot

The S&W SD40VE my brother gave me is the least expensive gun I own, but it’s also the the reliable gun I shot so far, but, I got others I need to get the range and see how they do.

He paid $129 for the High Point C9 and even though it is ranked as junk by gun dealers and collectors, it is accurate and trouble free. Can't get cheaper than free, or even the $129 he paid for it, it's my backup with my 38 special.
Before they became the worst price-gougers in the industry, Cheaper Than Dirt had a physical store about an hour from my house. I was in the area for work, and dropped in on my lunch break. They had both the JHP in 45 acp and the JCP in 40 S&W for $119 each. I bought them both, and they have both been well worth the money.

The JCP won't run certain defensive ammo, but Hi-Point has offered to update the now decade old gun for free if I pay to ship it to them. Apparently all JCP's from a certain era all suffer from this issue, and Hi-Point will update any of them that owners are willing to send them. I never intended to carry the JCP, so I only run ball ammo through it anyway. I'll agree that they aren't the prettiest gun, but they can be fun plinkers when ammo is available. Neither gun is one of my favorites, but they are certainly worth the money.

Cheap is relative I suppose, I have a somewhat inexpensive M&P 22 Compact pistol that is a hoot to shoot.

In these ammo starved times, it's the only thing I own that's not painful to shoot and replenish.
