Chicks dig scars!

I'm not showing mine ;) .

And @belladonna stated I have a scar but I ain’t showing it……then we all started wondering……

I have had both done a year apart. Do your PT and your exercises and you'll do fine. My knee recovery did a lot better than having the bones in my right foot fused ( arthritis) That was rough, no driving, walking and leaving the boot on 24 hrs a day for over a month. Six screws with five still there 6 years later ( One started unscrewing itself when I started walking so they removed it)

Just a quick update on things. Yesterday was interesting. No easy way to tell the story, but I had to deal with my first post-surgery poop. In the end, everything came out ok. But learned a few lessons. Also was able to take my first post-surgery shower. With the help of the wife, everything came out squeaky clean! On Friday I had my first physical therapy session. That was a little rough but have been told that in time it will get better/easier. This will be a long boring recovery. All I could do yesterday was watch the wife through the window taking care of a dead animal out in the backyard that my dogs had gotten a hold of. It kills me when I am not able to take care of things around here and have to depend on others to do things for me.

Get well soon my friend

My husband was the same way. Drove him nuts to depend on me, but we got through it. Just keep moving when you can, do what they say, stick with the PT and the exercises they give you and you should notice a little improvement every day. Listen to your body and don’t OVERDO it. There’s a fine line there.
Look at me being all “mom” like, lol! In all seriousness though, best wishes for a speedy recovery 😊.

When I had my surgery, my biles shut down, they gave me Mirilax, which really worked, you can safely take it now to get you back on track if want, I did for a bit, just a FYI.

Hope you get well quickly but when you get my age every poop is like a post surgery one.

Mrs. Tinyman had both hips replaced 4 months apart -- the scars looked like the numeral 7 -- just remember, do what the doc and your pt folks say -- if you don't use it, you'll lose it.

I'd show mine, but the quantity of those aircraft "incursions" would freeze the forum (and they are not as cool as yours).
