Cleaning question....

I have a Saint Victor 9mm. I get a little build up on the feed cone area of the barrel that I end up having to carefully scrape off using a small flathead screwdriver. Also, the upper receiver area where the bolt slides seems to be forever dirty after many attempts with CLP, microfiber rags, and patches. I'm probably cleaning it well enough, but I think I'm probably spending too much time doing this.

Are there any tools, brushes, or tips you can give me?

Are the any aerosol cleaners/solvents that I can spray in the upper receiver area and perhaps the lower receiver's trigger area that will help?

Will Gun Scrubber work, or other cleaner/solvents, and not harm the finish of the rifle?

I use Hoppes Bore cleaner for the barrel and Mil Spec CLP for lube.

Get you a Dewey cleaning kit. it has a special jag just for that area

I haven't checked for a 9mm one. that one for 308 will probably work. you can buy those jags seperatly. they have a wire one and cloth one. i imagine one can be bought for a 9mm. seems like i have used that 308 one on one of my 9mm rifles.
