Colt’s New .22 Revolver…King Cobra Target

Did you guys noticed in the video how he was talking about the trigger pull and dry fired the gun several times, no snap caps or anything, always was told and read not to dry fire a .22, I know you can dry fire a Ruger Single Six revolver, can’t remember about the S&W 617

Dry firing isn't good for any gun. I was surprised at that part, too.
Especially (very expensive, brand new) rimfires. Some kid dry fired that Charter in the pic I posted like it was a cap gun. After I told him not to.
Braim danaged yute. It just marred the bluing as far as I can tell. They are tough little guns.
My new .22 Bobcat's slide doesn't lock back when it runs out. I just count my shots, or tip up the barrel and look if I lose track.

The Colt and Ruger single actions have interchangeable cyclinders for .22 L.R. and .22 mag. There are lots of these on the used gun market, but they are getting to be a little pricy.

A lot of modern .22lr firearms have no issues with dry firing. Most of them have features to eliminate a damaged firing pin.

Here's Diamondbacks new entry:

As a revolver guy I find that thing to be sort of repulsive. A zinc frame.. I appreciate you posting the review of it, it was an entertaining read with lines like this: Speaking of the .22 Mag., the gun shot about 5 inches low at 10 yards... The .22 Mag. option allows the Sidekick to do double-duty as a varmint gun... You have to run over to the hole and bash their heads in with it..
With these combo revolvers the manufacturer has to decide which round it will be tuned up for since a .22LR bullet is .223" and a magnum is .224 in diameter. This one seems to be a LR shooter.
