Colorado bill aims to ban sale, manufacture of semiautomatic guns with detachable magazines
Senate Bill 25-003 aims to ban the manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, or purchase of a "specified semiautomatic firearm."

Don't care. I'm not playing anymore. I'll vote because it's CITIZENS responsibility to do so, pay my taxes, other than that leave me alone. I've got 20 years at best left in me then they won't have to deal with me anymore. In that time I'll smoke my pipe, drink my coffee, eat red meat, use my gas stove, drive my fossil fuel car, SCREW OFF!

First, I say this all the time even though it does no good, The Left's end goal is Citizen disarmament. This is just another step in the plan.
The semi-automatic firearms ban is a response to the almost complete lack of enforcement of the 2013 magazine capacity restrictions.
I can go to almost any gun shop in Colorado (outside of Denver or Boulder) and buy a "banned" magazine. I don't even think they call them "Parts Kits" anymore.
If this bill passes it's going to ban an entire class of weapons. I'm not sure how that's going to be affected by Heller decision which specifically prohibits banning classes of weapons and weapons "in common use".
Jared Polis is a wild card. On the one hand he has nothing to lose because he's term limited but on the other people say he wants to run for President and signing that bill would probably kill his chances.
If I could, I'd leave Colorado but I don't see it happening.

The anti-gunners pass these laws with no regard to rights being stomped on. They don't care how many people push back against them. They know it is going to take several years to get a lawsuit through the courts and even then they will just tweak a bill and pass something else .
Since there is no accountability for going against our constitution they just keep coming up with crap .
