I always try to go at least 3 times a month to the range. If I had it my way and could afford it I would be there everyday. Nothing beats practice, practice, practice.

I usually go once or twice during the week after work and almost every Sunday. It's church to me. Or meditation. I am almost always completely by myself. This past Sunday a guy with a bolt action rifle showed up around noon. I got about 3 hours alone with a .223 Wylde, a Bushnell Elite 6500 and 50, then 100 yard zeros, then ample alone time with steel at 200.
