Concealed carry

If you own the building you can Trespass someone. However, if you only own the contents, you cannot.
I'm not sure where you're at and what the laws are there but speaking for where I'm at Colorado Springs a renter can absolutely trespass somebody off their property and refuse service to them.
ALSO, It's discrimination if you allow the public in for commerce and stop someone just because they carry. That will stand in court. Sorry for my inclearity.
No. It absolutely will not. I invite you to show me case law.

How many times have you been stopped and searched for no wrong-doing? Same applies when you’re carrying a firearm. I live in a deep blue state and I treat it like it is constitutional carry. Do nothing wrong and the only way they will find out you’re *illegally* carrying a firearm is by unlawful search & seizure. Play your cards right.
Be VERY careful my friend, ‘cause you are playing a very dangerous game that could cost you dearly. Example-you’re tooling along in your car-somebody hits you and you are knocked out. The local PD responds, finds you have a “illegally carried” firearm on you. You may wake up on the prison ward. I carry (and have done so now for 35 yrs) BUT I will NOT do so in a state where it is not legal for me to do so. Risk is too high for me.

Happened to a friend of mine, he was charged for carrying in a hospital. Got off by claiming he didn't do it, the EMT did it !!

That's worse than NC. As for the sign, my constitutional rights DO NOT STOP AT ANYONES DOOR.

New to carry are you ?

For a long time NC had no civilian concealed carry . When Shall Issue first passed , there were so many off limit places with force of law , that lots of people didn't routinely bother , as they'd have to take off and put back on 10 times a day .

But in surprising sanity, the legislature rolled back many of those over the following several years.

So today is actually the Good New Days there .

In North Carolina you can open carry with no permit, no background check, classes, finger printing or charge. To conceal you pay about $200.00, take an 8 hour class, finger printed and background check. What about this makes any sense?. Are other states like this?.

The first time I read this first post , I wasn't sure if you were complaining, or bragging how good you had it .

People from Con Carry states would shake their head that there was a process at all .

People from the 8 or 10 Anti Gun / Anti Carry States ( with a high % of county's population ) would be thrilled to have it so easy, cheap , quick , and minimum hassle .

All a matter of perspective.

Opinions welcomed. Criminals don't care about the law, so why are the law abiding citizens of America having to pay for a "permit" to conceal carry?. I refuse to pay someone to tell me I can conceal when they run background checks to buy a gun. It's Unconstitutional.

In Indiana, we now have Constitutional Carry, so the carry permit (LTCH here- License To Carry Handgun) is no longer required. They will sell you one if you want, to have some paper to show in other states if needed. It’s good for life.

Concealed or Open carry are both allowed here.

No training requirements.

This is how it should be IMO. If it’s a right, then you shouldn’t need to meet any requirements. Rights can be lost, but it starts out as yours to lose.
On the rare times I’m at a public range, idiots cause me to see where some people think there should be some training required, but I still oppose it. That is way too easy to abuse.

EDIT:
A business can post that no weapons are allowed. If you are found carrying, you will be asked to leave. If you refuse, police can be called and you will be removed for trespassing.

Many don’t like this, but I’m OK with it. I believe in property rights too. They can choose to disallow it if they wish, but they have also chosen to lose my business because of it.

Absolutely. This is America and a business owner has the right to not let armed people in his store. And you have the right to choose whether to patronize them. It’s the same way in Missouri incidentally.

One of the advantages of having a Texas license to carry is holders must be given the opportunity to leave private property that has no gun's signs posted, while those with Constitutional Carry can be fined, cited, or arrested for being on private property with no gun's signs. Sometimes you don't always spot the signs. Having a LTC is almost like having a get out of jail card. It gives you an "oopsie" excuse. And having a Texas LTC allows you to have firearms in school zones, as in picking up your kids in a pick-up area in your vehicle.

Signs carry no force of law in Missouri. You can be asked to leave and refusal is trespassing.
Same as Florida. Some business owners here discovered those signs can be bad for business and removed them since they had no force of law anyway. You do need to know the 15 places where by law you cannot carry a gun in Florida, but otherwise if it is properly concealed it never becomes an issue.

I agree risk is to great. My wife and I both carry but avoid a lot of blue states. We especially avoid our old home state of NY. We only carry where there are reciprocal agreements.
