I am envious. I WISH I had bought one of those back in the '80s, when they were available. In that caliber, I'll stick with my K2

I tired finding it online but couldn't find anything. They're not difficult just different. I do like the bolt release where it's at, it gets to be part of the mag change motion. I will admit that having spent so much time with the AR platform it does take a little getting used to. While being heavier it is balanced so that if need be you can use your off hand to open doors, etc. and still be in a firing position for any potential short distance problems that might present themselves. I like the X95, I plan on keeping it.
They were reasonably priced as little as 12 years ago, but like most things their price has rocketed upward putting them out of reach for most... I know that I would not buy one at the prices they are selling for today.I am envious. I WISH I had bought one of those back in the '80s, when they were available.

A few of my cool guns, imho.
The second pic I like to call “Nimrod”.
I passed on a real deal PSG-1 w/full accoutrements—Hensoldt glass, case, tripod, manual, mags, flowing robes, striking, for $15k at Tulsa in 2016. I coulda swung it, but would have had to liquidate a fair amount of my collection to do it.I would love to have a G3 and holy grail won millions on the lottery would be a PSG-1
That’s pretty dang cool.In that caliber, I'll stick with my K2

I would have liquidated anything that could be replaced fairly easily.I passed on a real deal PSG-1 w/full accoutrements—case, tripod, manual, mags, flowing robes, striking, for $15k at Tulsa in 2016. I coulda swung it, but would have had to liquidate a fair amount of my collection to do it.
That was not the right decision.
Honestly?I would have liquidated anything that could be replaced fairly easily.
while I run MP5 sub guns, FN Fal's, AUG, Hi Powers, Garands, and the usual suspects, I should have gotten a G3 long ago when I had the chance.
possibly. made in America. Good representation. Just have HK G3 on the mind for 25 years....Honestly?
Get a PTR. They’re a solid clone…I’ve got a couple that I shoot, where the actual HK’s live in the safe.
I’ve a PTR MSG90 clone that I really like.
