When I would shoot at a cramped indoor range the shooting didn't bother me. But one time, right as I leveled my gun and set my finger to pull it off, BANG! I flinched and was startled. For that instant I thought my gun had fired.
I like shooting outdoors. More elbow room, less noise, less stress.
