What was your trigger pull before & after you took out the mag safety?Interesting vid, BUT, I can guarantee you ain't gonna get a trigger reading off a stock Girsan MC P-35 using one of those gauges. In fact, only way to get a reading involves pulleys, cables and tractors. I simply can't believe the same guy that designed the 1911 trigger designed the BHP trigger AND the atrocious magazine safety. Maybe it wasn't him since he died before completion.
I've got the Girsan P-35, and while it's extremely reliable, the trigger pull + mag safety is ATROCIOUS. Not only does the mag safety drag so hard on the mag face during trigger pull, it prevents the mag from dropping freely with the slide locked back. So when yah fire the last round, yah gotta dig the flush fitting mag outta the bottom of the grip before you can reload. Only things worse than the trigger, mag safety, and striped ramp front sight is Girsan + EAA customer service. They make Taurus look good! Anyway, my mag safety fell out + that's my story.View attachment 31671
Wrong!For others that don't know.
It takes 10 min to take out the little piece that is the mag release/safety.
You'll see an improvement.
Your story is incomplete.Wrong!
No, he's quite right.Wrong!
So--explain, in detail, what's different in the Girsan.Nooooo, you're both wrong!!! You can do that on a BHP but it ain't happening on a Girsan. Now you guys figure out why not and what you have to do to get it out. That's what I had to do. I'll expect yah finished in 10 min.
If you're inexperienced with the BHP design (which you appear to be) take/send it to a gunsmith who is.Nooooo, you're both wrong!!! You can do that on a BHP but it ain't happening on a Girsan. When I was living in N.MN I had a gunsmith who didn't know what he was doing in installing C&S parts. I was not satisfied with the trigger until I moved back to my current location & found a gunsmith skilled with BHPs and fixed things.
So, it's up to you to decide what to do.
You guys are the know it alls that informed everyone I didn't know what I was talkin about + the job could be done in 10 minutes. Well it can't, you're wrong, it doesn't work like the BHP safety removal. Seems there's only one person here that does know what he's talkin about (me) + he already removed the mag safety from his P-35. So figure it out yourselves!
Oh, I can, you're not worth it!So—you can’t explain what the differences—if any—are.
Gotcha.
I’m sure you know what you’re talking about, though./sarcasm font off/
@jarhead127 relax with the negative tone. You guys are the know it alls that informed everyone I didn't know what I was talkin about + the job could be done in 10 minutes.
