Could martial law happen?

Well, if it is "the Law", people are going to quickly realize what the "L" in LEO means, and that ain't defending their rights, it will be kicking the non-compliant in the teeth. Just go back 2 years and see how much abuse was perpetrated around the world in the name of a "mandate", not even a law ;)
Sure. In blue cities and states. I’m pretty confident there will be no Marshall law in the very red county in the very red state I live in.

I'm hoping you're right, but one can never underestimate the population's desire to punish and subdue their fellow man... NH is/was mostly people who want to be left alone, but there are many working extra hard at fixing this "glitch".

I’d be concerned about all of them except 2.
I think MT, ID, SD, ND WY, & Utah/West-slope of CO can take care of themselves.

Eastern OR & WA also are very different than the Willamette Valley & Puget Sound areas of OR & WA, respectively.

The West-slope of CO is very different than the Front Range, aside from the Aspen-type towns.

In 2020 the BLM/ANTIFA bottom-feeders came into several places in my state in their hippy buses and were not allowed to run-amok. They were contained in a small area in each locale & found out quickly that their :poop: wasn't going to be tolerated. They left quickly within a couple days going back to western OR & WA.

If things went south any trouble-makers would be squashed quickly in my state "if" they made it thru Eastern WA & ID in one piece. I don't see any bottom-feeders surviving a burn & destroy trip through the Dakotas, Utah & WY.

If anyone tried the :poop: that Hamas did to the Israeli civilians, any survivors would find out we've got hungry griz to feed. :sneaky:

I have serious doubts about Colorado, Washington, Oregon and some doubts about Idaho.

Of course out in the wild things are different, but when your state is run by your blue cities I wouldn't feel "Too" safe, even in the wilderness.

One has to be aware of the demographics of a state/Region.

I wouldn't characterize MO based on what St. Louis is like.

True, but Missouri government is not controlled by St. Louis or Kansas City. Reps have a veto proof majority and have for over a decade. I worry about places like Colorado because their state government is controlled by people who like high cap mag bans.

There's a huge difference between the Front Range & the West Slope parts of CO, and if things go south the Front Range will be far worse off than the West-Slope.

Still, it's part of Colorado. The state cops are going to obey.

The Counties & County Sheriffs pull a lot of weight in the West.

They pull a lot of weight everywhere bro. Especially in red states. They still can't stop the state cops.

I used to go to Colorado every year. From the time I was about 5 until the year they totally F'ed up all the out of state hunting regs. My uncle lived in Denver. I used to love Colorado. We almost moved there. I haven't been in Colorado in a couple decades and I have no desire to step foot in it again.

Minnesota is pretty much dictated to by the blueness in the twin cities. The rest of the state is mainly rural, but we get a lot of the urban ridiculousness and it doesn't mesh out here. Eastern MN pretty much blends in with ND.

I used to love Minnesota too. My mom has cousins in St. Paul. We used to go up there every couple years. I used to love Michigan too.

Where I really want to be is South Dakota. But when I broach the subject with my wife I get something like, -30 winters, blah, blah, blah, no way in hell, blah, blah, blah. Barring South Dakota I'd love to live in Montana. I could probably talk her into Texas, but man, I really don't care all that much for Texas weather.

I agree CO has weird hunting regs. I've wanted to hunt there but the regs are very hard to figure out.

I don't know if you ever went over to the West Slope but its a different world on the other side of the Divide. The CO residents on the West Slope have their "opinions" of the Front Range (Ft. Collins-Denver-CO Springs).

I'm sure. I would guess it's like that in Idaho and Montana and I know it's like that in Oregon. My buddy Monty lives in Oregon. Somewhere out in nowhere land. He goes to town ( and by town I mean some little podunk with a grocery store) like once every 6 months. He hates Portland and everyone in it.

We used to go en masse to Colorado every year. Then one year they jacked the out of state tags up dramatically and changed the law where you couldn't take anything with a wheel up above a certain elevation. And by anything with a wheel, I mean even a drag. And by above a certain elevation I mean the elevation where all the muleys are. If you want to shoot one you're gonna pay a guide on a horse $500 to go get it. We went that year. Dropped easy 5k between 6 of us and no one took a single animal.

Hunting in the West is a whole different ball game than east of the 100th meridian.
