The so called "drivers ed" now days to teach you to drive, does not include parallel parking and the DMV does not require parallel parking as most cannot parallel.Well, you might be OK to drive but you sure as hell must not know how to parallel park! LOL! Lol!
Today's instructors are a joke. Now on the other hand, 40 or so years ago, driver's tests included everything you can think of and you were tested on all of those things. It was even more stringent for me, because my dad (at the time a Gary Indiana cop) taught me to drive using his take-home squad car (he was the first patrolman in the city to get a take-home squad car back in the 1970's). When I got a bit older, he taught me what cops are taught (EVOC - Emergency Vehicle Operators Course). Came in handy when I decided to be a cop, too. But then again, I started driving at an early age...The so called "drivers ed" now days to teach you to drive, does not include parallel parking and the DMV does not require parallel parking as most cannot parallel.
Somebody’s getting lucky tonight.
