It's definitely a 4" Model 19 in .357. I've owned one for over 50 years--it was my first revolver.

Yes, the "department" owns both the Chevies. What I'm talking about is one of them will be seen driving up, and then the characters will get out of the other. They're painted identically so most people will just assume it's the same car, but it's not.

Ah, gotcha.

AMC did on more episode called "Show Me More". Its a behind the scenes look at how the show was made, the characters, actors and so forth. Good show. Catch it if you can.
This time I was paying attention. Yep, Joe is definitely carrying a 4" S&W Model 29. No doubt about it. Of course the few times he shoots it, that ain't .44 Magnums in there. Not nearly enough buck and roar. So I'm guessing that Joe, being a smart cop, had it loaded with .44 Specials. 😁 :rolleyes:
