Grabbin’ Lose’m will prob appoint Barbara “I’m entitled to it“ Lee as the interim, but what will the campaigning Shifty-Schiff and Katie ‘the world is on fire” Porter do, sit on the side lines and wait for the Pelouse seat? Any appointment will make the election that make more difficult.

i was told by the manager of the mom/pop gun store, that Newsome is the nephew of Feinstein..???

anyone know if that is true..??

If true, cut from the same liberal cloth.

I had to do some research on that. Apparently it's old 'family' ties only to feinstein and pelosi.

i wont speak ill of the dead, but i had thought she died last year.

she really needed to retire long ago
and i will say a prayer for her family and our country
and really pray gaven does not appoint someone simply becasue of skin color like we did with the VP

i too feel strongly about mandatory retirement for all in politics.

i think the "cut off/retirement age" should be at least no more than 70

also, "term limits" all across the board, and all of the USA, not just some states.

Perfect example is Frozen Mitch, scary shite to watch him look around unaware of his surroundings, and not just once. That's a guy, or his entourage, who holds some significant amount of power!

Competence & soundness of mind should be the measure of how old a person can serve vs. age.

That is a roll of the dice for anyone based on their biological & mental make-up.

There are many folks that are sharp as a tack in their 80's & 90's, while others much younger are less capable.

I have seen a proclamation from the POTUS that we are supposed to fly our flags at half staff in her honor until she is interred.

i hope from what you are saying, that means public/g'ment buildings.>???
Here is the actual proclamation:

A PROCLAMATION ON THE DEATH OF DIANNE FEINSTEIN

Senator Dianne Feinstein was a pioneering American and a true trailblazer. In San Francisco, she showed enormous poise and courage in the wake of tragedy, and became a powerful voice for American values. In the United States Senate, she turned passion into purpose, and led the fight to ban assault weapons, also making her mark on everything from national security to the environment to protecting civil liberties. Senator Feinstein was a role model for so many Americans and she had an immense impact on younger female leaders for whom she generously opened doors. She was a historic figure, and our country will benefit from her legacy for generations.

As a mark of respect for the memory of Senator Dianne Feinstein, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, on the day of interment. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-ninth day of September, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-three, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-eighth.

ok, as long as he didn't say privately flown flags....

What I disliked most was the Democratic party's callus endorsement of elder abuse. Propping that poor woman up day after day just to keep a seat in the Senate was very heartless and self serving. Watching the Democratic party's version of "A Weekend At Bernie's" made me sick to my stomach. The same thing holds true for Pelosi.

To be fair, the Republican voters of Kentucky need to take note and not do the same to Mitch McConnel. There comes a time when you have to be smart enough to know it is time to switch to a fresh horse..

That is why I have the greatest respect for my Dad. When my Mom died, he lived alone for several years on his own. One day, my sister and I received a call from him telling us he can't see well enough to drive so he wanted to look at selling the house and finding an assisted living facility. When we asked him if he wanted to stay in New Jersey by his friends, his response was "Na, all of my friends are dead." We got him a place near my sister in Escondido where he passed at 89. I have the highest respect for that Normandy vet who was smart enough to know when to fight and when to retreat.
Need to add Biden and Fetterman to that list, as well. It's sick what some will do to maintain a grasp on power.

Hypocrite D&R "law makers" write laws that they demand citizens to obey, but not them. And why leave a job that makes them twice what the average US citizen makes, plus take in whatever they can extort and steal.
