Did someone say Buick?

 My guess it may be because of that poster that keeps deriding Buicks that NMedge and that @Belt Fed fella like. I won't be surprised if the old guy also leaves if his Yeets and Turkish arsenal are kept being made fun of. Just a wild guess on my part though . 😬😬😁

I go off on my wife's Buick all the time. Once here. Not a fan of the new stuff, but that goes for almost all of the new stuff.

Even my new(ish) explorer has electrical gremlins that Ford won't admit to being a known repeat problem.

My best vehicle that is less than 20 years old, a Dodge Dakota, is decent, except for a fan than won't stop blowing the resistor. Sucks in Winter.

My best car is 58 years old.

There’s a guy in your garage that is bored to death 😝

Great way to fly below the radar Annihilator! GTO performance with a LeMans insurance bill. I was going to add a GTO hood with the twin scoops and tach to this 68 LeMans but never got around to it. Great fun. One of my best friends in High School had a 1971 GTO Convertible...a good deal of my misspent youth was misspent in that car. I would love to find one now, but there were only 671 convertibles that year. Odds are against it. But I have not ruled out a LeMans with a GTO hood and a hot rod motor!!!!

And Bassbob the Ford small block 260/289/302 engine is one of the all time greats. Lightweight and rev happy, it makes a great street motor. I deliberately went for the small block over the big block in the Cobra because the big block cars are so nose heavy. The small block cars have better balance and with only 2,100 lbs of car to move, still has enough power to pull a Boy Scout off your Granny.

Yea, it was a great sleeper, looked like just a plain old Pontiac, unless you looked close and saw the duel exhaust sticking out the back, only mods I did was, aluminum intake, holly carb, accel ignition and headers……good ole days!

Yeah it would move that big old boat pretty good. Not long after I acquired a pair of Mach 1s though. Both had 351s. One Windsor and one Cleveland. Those cars were very fast. Chevy small block 400 was a great motor. So was the Dodge 440.

I get that Kir. But to me, I look at life as being pretty short. So I want to enjoy myself as much as possible. I spend too much time behind the wheel to drive something boring. I like cars that I get to run thru the gears and feel the wind and sun. A car that is fun to hustle thru the corners. A car that I always regret selling, but by the same token I have to sell them to get something else fun because I can't store them all. A car, to me, is entertaining. So I always try and have fun ones to drive.

Soon enough I am going to have to have my 289 rebuilt. Not in a rush though.
