Did You Buy the Wrong Handgun?

Douglas, That is great news and I'm glad the Sig works for you. Keep training and become harmonious with your weapon. There is no greater feeling to have a weapon that you have total confidence in and can deploy with positive results. Push your limits, keep training you will be amazed with want you can accomplish. TRAIN,BE SMART, THINK TACTICS

Love my XD9 Tactical !!!
I would like to get a Hellcat, but unfortunately, not LEGAL in the Socialist Utopia known as: NJ (mag capacity)

If you would have told me 2 years ago my favorite gun would be a 9mm I would have laughed in your face.
My EDC is an XD9 Tactical, because of ammo cost and availability (need to practice!) But if I had my druthers, I'd be carrying my 40... just sayin'

Mr. Untactical, you are on the right track. I must say the Ronin is a great offering and if you really rock with it then stay with it. I'm not at all a fan of the micro gun craze all of my handguns are 4 inch barrel length or more for good reasons. I think it's awesome that you and your wife are training together and finding that gun that really gives you the confidence. Keep up the good work. "Fortis Fortuna Juvat"
Thanks, @Honorman - I'm looking forward to working with the Ronin, for sure. Whether I was a victim of marketing or whatever, I have tried most of the popular micros and don't love any of them. I had it in my head that I needed something sleeker/smaller than my XD Mod.2 subcompact for EDC, but the more I shot the micros, the less I liked them. Every date night (or day) at the range is a good one! (y)

keep it going because the more you train with that ronin the better you will improve your skill sets don’t be afraid to push yourself I think you will be amazed on how much you can improve. It’s always a balance of speed and accuracy in deploying your weapon speed is important but if you miss bad things happen to you. Speed is fine but accuracy is final. In gunfights these factors are important. Speed will come with practice but you must get your hits. Remember hits are quicker than misses. it takes valuable fractions of time to reacquire your target on misses and this can place you in jeopardy. TRAIN,BE SMART,THINK TACTICS
