Do certain gun articles annoy you?

Everyone on the forum will accept you for admitting that you go both ways. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

The articles I get tired of seeing are the "Torture Test" articles. I like to know how a gun will function after a few hundred rounds without cleaning, but I could care less how it does after 5,000 rounds without cleaning. While I am curious about fit and finish right out of the box, I don't need to know how it will hold up to being drug by a truck for 10 miles on a gravel road. The same holds true for information concerning how well a gun functions after being buried in sand for a week, or left submerged in a swamp.

Even in a true SHTF or TEOTWAWKI situation, I can't see ever treating my guns like that. I would actually assume the opposite. In prolonged situations where the continued safety/survival of myself and my family is concerned, I assume that I would do everything I could to keep my guns functioning properly. If I ever found a gun buried in the sand or stuck in swamp mud, I'm fairly positive that it would be a gun that someone else owned, so the effect of these tests on my purchasing decisions would be irrelevant.

Whatā€™s the cure for Glock leg?
Itā€™s called natural selection. Eventually Glock leg will thin out the gene pool and weā€™ll just be left with good, strong specimens in the tribe, throwing their Sigs on the ground to prove they wonā€™t go off. Of course theyā€™ll be no cops either because they will have developed Sig Leg from continually fiddling with their holstered guns.

Guess I'll stir things up a little.
#1 Any article (or advertisement) for 'red-dots' or lasers. I don't have them and I don't need them.
#2 Any article (or advertisement) for 4K hunting shotguns or rifles. I don't hunt and I don't need them.
I'm done now.
Forgot #3 CANS or what some folks call silencers. I don't have any and I don't need any.

Right now, any article on a staccato P. Yes I know how awesome it probably is to have a 2011/ double stack 1911. Yes I already want one. I canā€™t/ shouldnā€™t buy one right now. Stupid magazine ban coming limiting me to 10 rounds which is the same as a single stack 9mm 1911. So once that kicks in, 9-days and counting, than at least I wonā€™t hate them as much since I wonā€™t be able to get one and can stop drooling on my phone.

Not an article, but gun talk related. I tried to join another forum, and as part of the registration, they ask you a "random question" to prove you're not a bot or a spammer. And this is the total nonsense they ask.

The "question" is: "Joe and the (2 letters)". What the hell kind of question is that? I have absolutely no idea what they're even asking. Let alone how to answer it. Where is the common sense?

How does Santa laugh?

Not Glock legā€¦ā€¦.Sig legā€¦ā€¦honestly I never saw a accidental discharge on a Glock when I worked at my sheriffs dept or when I worked on them as the Glock Armorer, if you donā€™t touch the trigger it wonā€™t go off, plain and simple, this also applies to the P320
I think the biggest problem was Glock was so new. No safety to crutch on, and people whether they admitted it or not had grown careless about trigger safety. Something in trigger guard, no safety, push pistol into holster, bang
