do you keep an inventory count of your ammo?

I keep a rough spreadsheet count of the ammo by calibers/weight/bullet types. I subtract when I return home from the ranges. A rainy bunch of days is occasionally good for some recount time as

Ammo is currently in ammo cans with desiccants but would really like to get a pretty good size ammo cabinet with dehumidifier for it all. I usually scan the ammo shelves while in all the stores I visit and compare their prices with what I might need or want more of on my list.

I also keep a spreadsheet with all the data for all my guns separated by revolver/pistols/shotguns/rifles.

for my particular space and situation, the Craftsman cabinets in my previous postings, fit the bill. they are industrial looking and as such, in my basement "blend in" with basement things.

they would stick out like a sore thumb, in my house, and the Mrs would probably shoot me if i put them there.

i think the cost was under $140 for each, at Lowes. there is also a tall storage cabinet, same color scheme, higher price too.

mine have 1 shelf inside, that is not adjustable, which for me, works out very well. at the bottom corner, is a hole for wiring to snake thru for lights, but a golden rod dehumidifier will work as well, i'll have to check the mounting brackets when i order them.
