Like the carry rotation thread, my reply is more or less “it depends”.
If your primary firearms interest is self-defense and you bounce around between 150 very different guns, then you might not be doing yourself any favors.
Like most here, I have… numerous… guns. I guess my primary leaning is self-defense, but I play in almost every other area also. I have a few guns I focus on, and I have a lot of guns I dabble with. That’s not the same as the example in my above paragraph.
