Do you still carry the original Hellcat?

Carried a Shield gen 1 for many years before getting the OSP. I carry a 13 round in the gun and two 15 rounders on the belt. With that kind of capacity, the extra inch of barrel is a nit for me. Got the RDP for the wife. Found out that she is more accurate with the RDP over the OSP. While the PRO is a very nice gun, I see no reason to spend more money on it considering that I can hit a 3 inch bottle cap at 30 yards with the OSP.

Now, if they came out with a Hellion in .308, that might be a different story.

I got to shoot my Springfield Sa-35 yesterday.
I loved it. It’s like a mini 1911 in size and weight. I did not check the trigger pull feels about about 5-6 lbs.
I did notice the reset length seemed a little long. After shooting the SA35 I fired my MilSpec 1911. The reset length is fairly short on the 1911but my Beretta 92 was similar to the SA35.
The angle of the grip felt really good. Seemed more natural cant.

Still have my original OSP with Shield RMSc and find myself carrying it more often than other pistols in my carry rotation as it's been perfect since day one with no problems experienced other than a DOA front tritium sight which was quickly turned around by CS.

I "liked" L n' L's post above but with only a couple personal corrections .... #1 - Mine is complete with the Shield SMSc and ...... #2 - I've never had any issue with the front sight.

I did have a slight issue with the slide lock button at one point, but SA made it right in a less than 3 week turn-around.

I now have close to a couple thousand rounds through it and not one hiccup. Some Win, some Magtech, some Norma, and a few Sig V-crown 124gr's, but mostly my reloads. Either 115gr FMJ or 124gr FMJ, and a few 124gr Hornady HP hand loads. Overall, mostly reloaded 124gr FMJ's.

I repeat ..... "not one hiccup".

I love my OSP Hellcat !!!
