Today there is a dizzying array of different reticle designs that we can use on both rifles and handguns, and a selection of different colors of reticle illumination. The color of our reticle does matter. As we learn more about how the human eye perceives color, we gain a better understanding of how different color wavelengths interact with our eyes and visual cortex.
