Illinois is rapidly approaching the date when Illinois residents must register many different guns the government considers assault weapons or face huge fines and years in prison.
The problem is, the guns they want registered are only officially listed on the ISP website. Further, they can only be registered in a complicated process also on the ISP website.
Granted if you are reading this, you have both computer and internet access and the knowledge of how to use both. My question is: How do those less educated or too elderly, or those too poor to own or access computers and the internet even know they are about to become felons?
While I know this plays into the Governor's view of life, it seems very unfair to me. It seems even more disgraceful that our local (Illinois) media isn't reporting on this issue.
