I think all COG’s are the same, made to fit various modules, mags, should but not sure on them

I was really wondering about that, that’s why I didn’t reply right away. I couldn’t find anything that mentioned compatibility between the two, but my brain was telling me “compact frame” vs the original 4.5, slight size difference?
Let’s just say I think it would be cool if they were compatible.

Logic would suggest the mags would be compatible but just noticed the 15 rd mags are different for the 4.0C and 4.5F on the Smithfield Armory accessory page. Looks like an intentional money grab. Make a slight change and sell more mags.
Thats a bummer since I have a 4.5F and plan to get a 4.0C.

There are guntubers that have already tried the mag compatibility, and they work just fine. But just like the PDP, you have to watch out not to slam the longer mags home or they will not feed properly. You should use a mag extension if you're going to use the longer mags.
And yes, the COG will work in either of the fullsize or compact frames.

No problem, I was wondering the same thing and I've been watching lots of reviews on the new compact. I plan on getting a compact once my budget comes back around.
Yes everything is compatible and switchable, just keep the proper length barrel with the proper length slide.
Shorty slide with threaded barrel in full size frame with a modded Patriot CNC comp. Everything is also compatible with the aftermarket frames and magwells.
