yeah, i had seen that video a couple of times, to learn how to field strip that particular RSA.
when i watched it again after posting, i could see that bushing cut.
my "best guess", is that S/A took many slides off the assembly line from one 1911 model, to make this new Emissary, and get it out for the introduction date and sales....?
maybe the "next generation" will be slides made specifically for the Emissary..??? and that bushing cut will simply not be there..???
and yes, i know you were not complaining...
