EMP 4 experience?

Hi. I’m looking for advice on the pre-ronin emp. I’ve shot the 3” and the contour carry bobtail several times (local range rental). I’m really excited about the 4” and watching gunbroker to buy one. I’m a little nervous though because the example 4” I tried had a lot of failure to feed issues and a few fail to extract. I know warranty service is excellent, but I won’t be the original purchaser

I used only ball ammo in 115, 124, and 135.

What experiences have forum members had?

Have zero issues with my EMP CCC. I run primarily Freedom Munitions 115gr/124gr remanufactured JHP at the range. I run Barnes TAC XPD +P 115gr/Federal HST 124gr or 147gr JHP for carry purposes. The Barnes being my primary carry ammo with this gun. These rounds run flawlessly in my EMP.

I was using Freedom Munitions. Thanks for sharing your experience. Rental guns aren’t always in optimal shape.

My wife just sold her EMP. Never had any issues with it. Ran 115 FMJ and 147 JHP loads. Nice gun!

I don’t think they offer it in .40 like they did on the previous version.
